SAN JOSE, Calif. – A man arrested for alleged sex crimes has died by suicide in a Santa Clara County jail, authorities said.
The 44-year-old was found unresponsive in his cell during a welfare check shortly before 8:20 a.m. Saturday, county officials said.
Deputies and medical staff of the Santa Clara County Main Jail administered Narcan and performed CPR to revive the man.
Paramedics pronounced the man to be dead a few minutes after their arrival. Authorities said there were no signs of foul play and that preliminary findings point to suicide. The inmate was also alone in his single cell when he was found.
Obviously he knew what awaited him and would follow him the rest of his life… He knew that he was marked now and there is no way to remove it.
I guess after weighing the options and whatever future he could see for himself, and it just ended up being too much to bear. He already knew that life on the registry isn’t worth living.
You can never get you life, freedom, or rights back.
God Speed, man, another person lost to the registry… Just the fear of being on it was enough to inspire suicide….
A man was murdered , by deputies , at the Kern county no. prison in Febuary .
He, a sex offender, was put in a cell with a known killer, and found dead in the morning .
This was simply murder ,
Could it be he had zero hope for a future worth living in?
Was he in one of those single cells that the Riverside County Sheriffs have admitted do not lock? And perchance were there people in other unlockable cells within that block that might have taken exception to the fellow’s charges? I know I got jumped immediately when I was incarcerated in Imperial Co. as soon as they opened the cells for morning meal/recreation. I certainly do not trust the police when they say that a registrant died by suicide and no signs of foul play. After all after I was jumped the officer threatened to have hate crimes added to mine because my assaulters bruised their knuckles punching me and I was white and they were Mexican.

As a former crim. defense investigator of 25 years, I became well-educated on the BS propogated by prison administrators, and others associated with management of prisoners/prisons. Believe NOTHING they say. Their primary concern is to protect their lucrative ‘feifdom’ at any cost.
Unless there is an indisputable and professionally verified unadulaterated and un-editted recording of some type…just assume it’s BS.
I worked a case in which the medical examiner pronounced an inmate’s death (found ‘hung’ in his prison cell) as a ‘suicide’….until a month later when another inmate confessed to murdering the victim. The victim was of course a convicted sex offender, advanced in age. The medical examiner was asked to “review his previous findings”. And upon further review, ‘the call was overturned’. The county medical examiner claims that HE had discovered “NEW” evidence that caused him to change his previous conclusion to a “homicide”. Par for the course.
What is even more interesting is that the perpetrator of this crrime was then transferred to a higher security prison (state of California) and was placed in a cell with another inmate. That other inmate was a convicted sex offender. Guess what happened next? Kind of a ‘rinse and repeat’. Coincidence? Well that is what the prison officials claimed. Ok, yeah…sure…we believe you….
